2. Direct Drive Technology The motor drives the drum without a flywheel nor a driving belt. There are less wearing parts, so the motor is more reliable, silent and efficient.

Water Recirculation System LG Direct Drive Model is equipped with a circulating shower function, Shower Spray. A pump under the drum pulls up the water that stays at the bottom of drum. This water is repeatedly sprayed from the top of the drum during the washing and rinsing process. Shower Spray improves washing performance by dissolving detergent perfectly. It also reduces water consumption and that means less electricity to heat up the water. Finally it will save you money in water and electricity bill.

Hand Wash Delicate or fine-mesh clothes with a hand-wash symbol had to be treated with the utmost care in the past. From now on, all delicate items made from silk, linen, viscose or mixed favrics classified as "hand-wash only" by clothing manufactures can be entrusted to LG's gentle-care program with confidence.

Quick 30 Laundry that needs to be washed frequently such as sports wear or T-shirts might get damaged by frequent normal washing. The "Quick 30" cycle can be selected for these items that are only lightly soiled or only perspired in where the wash cycle completes in just 30 minutes.

Child-Lock In order to prevent children from pressing buttons to change the program during operation, press "Wash" and "Rinse" buttons at the same time. Once the Child-Lock buttons are pressed, the LED indicates "CL" every 3 seconds.
