About Warranty

WARRANTY

This Warranty card should be retained by the customer along with proof of purchase. The original packaging of the product should be returned for the warranty period.

1. Subject to the conditions below, the product is warranted for labour and   parts for three (3) months from the date of purchase.
2. At the time of sale, the product may contain slight imperfections and or  physical damage that does not effect the operation or performance of the unit, and some LCD products may have missing pixels. All products are sold on an "as is" basis, hence the warranty does not cover such imperfections, damage or missing pixel.
3. The warranty is for normal domestic use only and excludes any defect or injury caused by or resulting from incorrect installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental damage, improper voltage, vermin infestation or any alteration which affects the reliability or the performance of the unit, not attributable to faulty manufacture, parts or labour.
4. This warranty also does not cover damage or faulty to video heads or stylus resulting from wear and tear in normal use; dust or other particles on LCD lenses; or batteries.
5. Changes not covered by the terms of the warranty must be borne by the customer. Such charges may arise through the cost of any service call where the product is found to be in operating in accordance within the manufacture's specifications, maladjustment of the controls by the user, or failure to follow operating instructions, mains supply defects or external interface or defective or inadequate antenna system.
6. Televisions, air conditions, and refrigerators will be serviced on-site, unless Electric Seconds decides to replace the product. All other products will be serviced at Electronic Seconds Centre's premises.
7. The warranty includes the costs associated with returning a repaired product or any part thereof or a replacement product to the customer.
8. Unless otherwise specified to the consumer, the benefits conferred by this express warranty are additional to all other conditions, warranty, guarantees, rights and remedies expressed or implied by Trade Practices Act 1974(Ctn) and similar consumer protection provisions contained in legislation of the States & Territories and all other obligations and liabilities on part of Electronic Seconds Centre, and nothing herein shall restrict or modify such rights, remedies, obligations or liabilities.
